2018 National Geographic School-Wide Bee

The 2018 National Geographic School-Wide Bee was held on Wed. Jan. 24 with 10 participants from grades 4th-8th grades. Frontenac Junior High Community Service Project

During the month of November, students in grades 6-8th collected non-perishable food items for the Sacred Heart food pantry. Eight-hundred and fifty food items were donated. Mr. Rakes’ Advisory class donated the most, and will receive a pizza party for their efforts. Be kind, give generously — Frontenac Dollar Club gives back to community at Sonic

Frontenac Dollar Club members pay for Pittsburg Sonic Drive-in customers’ meals on Saturday. The club does random acts of kindness throughout the year, this year they paid for 40 customer’s meals at Sonic and gave a $120 tip to one of the servers. [STEPHANIE POTTER / THE MORNING SUN]

PITTSBURG — Customers at the Pittsburg Sonic Drive-in had their meals paid for by the Frontenac Dollar Club on Saturday. The students spent $100 on meals, which paid for 40 meals and an extra $120 was given to a server at Sonic as tip.
