EXPECTATIONS FOR STUDENT ATHLETES
* Be on time.
* Come prepared to work (practice).
* Respect the facilities.
* Respect and take care of school issued equipment.
* Show and address coaches and support people with respect.
* Treat officials, game personnel, administration and fans with
respect.
* Be and remain a student in good standing.
* Discuss any circumstances with the coach that could cause you to
miss or be late prior to those practices or competitions.
* Talk to the coach if you have any questions regarding performance
or playing time.
EXPECTATIONS FOR COACHES
* Be on time.
* Be organized.
* Be consistent when dealing with players.
* Be professional when dealing with players, parents and fans.
* Treat officials, game personnel and administration with
respect.
* Provide a safe instructional environment.
* Communicate your personal expectations to players and
parents.
EXPECTATIONS FOR PARENTS AND FANS
* Be positive and encouraging towards players and coaches.
* Treat officials, game personnel and administration with
respect.
* Be respectful to other fans. (You may have an opinion but not
everyone wants to hear it.)
* Be respectful and courteous when addressing a coach, player or
administrator and expect the same.
* Attend parent's meeting.
* If a parent has a concern they should follow the following
steps:
Player should meet with the coach.
Parent should set up a meeting with the coach.
* If a concern still exists, the parent and player should:
Set up a meeting with the athletic director.
* Do not approach a coach after a game.
* Participation in or attendance at our athletic events is a
privilege, not a right.
* If your actions are detrimental to the athletic experience, that
privilege can be revoked.
