National Library Week Winners

In recognition and celebration of National Library Week, April 13-19a drawing for two books was held to encourage students to visit the library and read. Beyond the Spiderwick Chronicles: The Nixie’s Song was incentive for Intermediate readers, 3rd-5th, and Magic Tree House: Dark Day in the Deep Sea was incentive for the primary readers, K-2nd. Students were allowed to put their names into a container in the library each time they read a book. There was an overwhelming response and the containers were very full by the time of the drawing. The winners said that they were excited to win the books and loved to read.
