Teacher Appreciation Week

Teachers across the nation are being appreciated even more on May 5-9. This year Frank Layden Elementary PTO is giving FLE teachers a full week of treats.
On Monday, the teachers will be eating barbeque. On Wednesday they will be treated like royalty with a shoulder and neck massage provided by the PTO. Thursday and Friday there will be activities.
“Tuesday will be a surprise for the teachers, it’s a secret,” said Mark Allai, FLE principal.
National School Nurse Day is also celebrated Wednesday with the all day Body Walk and FCCLA will be helping. Allai said he is very excited about this fitness activity.
At your school, your teachers work very hard to get you to excel. So, remember to say, to them, “Thank you for being my teacher!”
