Frontenac Junior High students create "cartouches" of their names.

Cartouche: an oblong enclosure with a horizontal line at the end, indicating that the text enclosed is a royal name. So what does a cartouche have to do with Frontenac Junior High students? Well, students in Jennifer Morris' social studies class created Ancient Egyptian cartouche drawings. Each student drew their own Egyptian with their cartouche name next to it. The students drawings are hanging up in the Frontenac Junior High hallway.
