After studying rain forest plant adaptations, teams of students were given the problem to construct a way to keep their "tree" standing upright during a one minute wind (fan on high). This team successfully completed the challenge, and their tree withstood the windy fan for over a minute! Way to go!Rainforest Adventures
Twenty students participated in the Rainforest Adventure Camp from June 9-13. The interactive distance learning teacher at the Education Service Center at Greenbush, about 23 miles from Frontenac, was Lisa Pride.
