Mission
Frontenac Schools
are dedicated to providing a positive learning atmosphere for
students which will develop their maximum potential in a constantly
changing society.
Welcome to the Raiders’ web site! We hope you will discover the wealth of information that it provides about our students, school, and community.
Frontenac USD 249 has a tradition of success in academics and activities. Our students consistently score above average on state exams and eighty-five percent meet state standards each year. Our schools earned Kansas’ “Standard of Excellence” Award in 11 of 17 levels of reading, math, and science last year.
Our most important assets include an experienced and highly professional faculty with very low teacher turnover. We also have state-of-the art technology and attractive and secure facilities.
And finally, a key ingredient is a very strong relationship between the community and the school. The Frontenac Education Foundation, established in 1993, has raised more than $1 million dollars to assist with projects and scholarships for our students.
