About Coach Rakes

Coach Jeremy Rakes is heading up the Lady Raiders for the first time this year; this is his fourth year at Frontenac. He played basketball all his life, participated on traveling teams and starting all four years as point guard. His home town is Minneola, Kan., 20 miles south of Dodge City. Rakes attended Pittsburg State University, where he graduated with a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. This year in addition to coaching he is a sixth grade teacher.
