FHS Girls Basketball
Frontenac High School’s varsity girls basketball team had a 42-14 lead on
Galena in the third quarter of Friday night’s game, at Frontenac.
Frontenac, with its ten varsity players, has an overall record of 11-4,
and a CNC record of 3-0, while Galena has 5-10 for an overall record and
1-2 CNC. The Raiders went on to win the game by 26 with a final score of
56-30. Senior, Emily Barto, scored 14 points, while sophomore Taylor
Seward, and freshman Libby Warrick trailed behind her with nine points
each.
FHS Boys Basketball
Frontenac High School’s boys varsity basketball team suffered a 30 point
loss, on Friday night’s game against Galena. The Raiders were without two
varsity players, Robert Seward and Gage Tindell, on Friday’s game. Their
overall record is 2-13, and 0-3 CNC, while Galena has an overall record of
2-13, and a CNC record of 3-0. Keaton Brown, junior, scored 10 points
against Galena. St. Mary’s Colgan comes to Frontenac to play on Tuesday.
