The No. 1-seed Raiders girls basketball team hit key free throws in the fourth quarter of a substate game Saturday night at home to secure a 45-37 win over Caney Valley. Frontenac (17-6) now moves on to the state tournament in Hutchinson this week under the direction of Coach Jeremy Rakes.
