The Frontenac Forensics team competed at Parsons on February 13 and Southeast on March 6. The team pulled away with several medals at both meets.
In Parsons, Logan Falletti (jr.) earned first place in poetry, Brandon Wright (jr.) earned sixth place in extemporaneous speaking, and the team of Wright and Alex Spigarelli (jr.) earned fourth place in improvised duet acting.
At Southeast, the team brought home medals in three events. Logan Falletti (jr.) and Stacey Burke (sr.) placed 2nd and 5th in poetry respectively out of 34 competitors. Falletti and Eli Plouvier (sr.) placed 4th in Duo, barely missing out on a chance at state, but still medalling.
"I'm confident in future competitions they will qualify," said Andra Stefanoni, Frontenac Forensics coach.
Ryan Zafuta (sr.) and Ashley Lock (sr.) competed in poetry and prose, receiving solid scores. The team looks forward to its next meets at Colgan on March 27 and the CNC League tourney in Girard on March 30.
