FHS scores well at Regional Journalism Competition

Three FHS students attended the Kansas Scholastic Press Association regional competition at Pittsburg State University last week to compete against about 100 others students from SEK high schools in newspaper related events.

All three came home with honors and will be going on to compete at the state level at the University of Kansas on May 1.

Morgan Grisham, junior, earned third place in news writing, Michelle Brown, junior, earned an honorable mention in headline writing, and Logan Falletti, junior, earned an honorable mention in feature writing.
