FHS Forensics

FHS Forensics The current FHS Forensics squad consists of 6 students, and while the squad is small, they are mighty!  Coached by Angella Curran, the squad consists of seniors, Kasey Dixon, Abby Gepford, Evan Powell, Eli Tinsley, junior, Macy Kotzman  and  freshman, August Chamberlain.

The Frontenac Raiders forensics season started on January 28th, 2017 at the Girard invitational.  Where Kasey Dixon qualified for state with his humorous interpretation of Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail, and Powell and Tinsley qualified for state with their duet, On the Air.

The students have also competed at Caney where all FHS competitors medaled in finals, and they competed at Independence where Powell and Tinsley, once again qualified for state, with a perfect record.  The forensics squad will also be competing at Fort Scott, Chanute, Colgan, and Pittsburg, and they will be hosting their own invitational at Frontenac on April 1, 2017.  They are always in need of community members to assist with judging their home tournament and welcome anyone that is interested to contact Ms. Curran. We look forward to a successful season.
