Frontenac School Board Reduces Local Taxes

During the USD 249 school board meeting on April 12, 2021, the district announced it will be able to redeem the district bonds entirely next fiscal year. This will eliminate the 5.541 mills currently levied in the Bond & Interest fund for Frontenac School District taxpayers. Raider Chess Almost Captures State Title

This weekend the Frontenac Raider Chess Team competed in the Kansas State Championship. Unlike previous years, the State Tournament was held online with players huddled over their screens, waiting for their pairing to be posted on the shared website. State Wrestling

Three Frontenac High School wrestlers, Justice Compton, Dylan Ensch, and Dawson Lapping, represented the Raiders at the Class 4A State Wrestling Tournament in Salina, Kansas, this past weekend as they battled individually and as a team for a State title.
