Drivers Ed – Drivers Ed class will begin the week before Spring Break. The cost of the class is $202. Please contact Mr. Gudde () if you are interested in your child taking drivers ed. Mr. Gudde will contact interested parents with the time for a Parent Meeting.
Students will complete the online portion of the class on their own. They must be in class May 23-25 from 10:00-1:00 to complete that instruction and testing. Driving will be scheduled by Mr. Gudde and shared with students at a later date.
USD 249 has received a grant that will pay the cost of the class (scholarship) for students who are free or reduced lunch status. We have a limited number of these scholarships. They will be handed out in the order qualified applicants apply for a scholarship. Parents will have to verify they qualify for free/reduced lunch status. You may use the Home Economics Survey that was filled out during enrollment or filling out the home economic survey. Please let Mr. Copple () know if you are interested in a scholarship for FHS Drivers Ed class.
