Junior High Students Compete at Music Contest

On Saturday April 22, 19 Frontenac Junior High music students converged on the campus of Pittsburg State University with 1000 other students from the Four-State area for the “Mid-America Music Festival-Contest.”  Students were able to play for judges:  solos, small ensembles, and large ensembles.   The following are the results that the Frontenac students garnered. On Saturday April 8, students from the FHS Music Department departed for PSU to participate in the KSHSAA Regional Solo/Small Ensemble Festival-Contest.  Students participated in both instrumental and vocal events.
